For example, Woodshed is a production company that produce horror films. Their logo conveys the genre successfully as it has been made out of monochrome colours and has a sharp edge design. This creates a dark negative mood as there is no colour we feel uneasy and know they don't produce bright and happy films. The jagged and pointy edges connote violence and horrors are associated with this.
Also Walt Disney is another example of a production company that specifies in a certain genre which is fantasy and fiction. The castle in the background of the logo connotes to the audience that the films are fantasy and fiction. The font that is used for the logo furthers the genre as it looks quite fancy which can represent princess elements within the films. There are many different versions of the Disney logo where some include colour. This suggests that the films they produce are uplifting and happy. This also tells the audience that their films are child friendly and mainly aimed at a younger audience.
We have analysed these examples of production company logos to further our reasons that our Arrow logo can be used for a variety of different film genres in the film industry.
